About Hayden

Hi, my name is Hayden and I’m glad that you found my blog.

I’m 12 years old and I want to be a zoologist when I grow up.

I am writing this blog to share what I have learned about animals and I hope that other kids are able to learn from this as well.

If you have any animals that you would like to learn more about, please feel free to leave a comment below and I will try to find at least 5 interesting facts about them.

  1. Hayden, I like reading from your blog. I have an interest in animals and I like looking for other kid bloggers like myself.
I am 3 years older than you but you could find this blog interesting:

  2. Hi, Hayden. I like your blog. I think it’s cool. πŸ™‚ I like animals, too. My mom and I read your post about Western Lowland Gorillas. Have you ever written about ocelots?

I hope I hear from you soon.

    Your friend,

  3. I also really like your blog. I have recently started my own and I think it is very fun. I turned 10 in July and am an animal lover. I have all sorts of animals and once we found a bearded dragon (I Think) in our sandbox! He was really cool. But I think animals should be able to roam free in the wild. We did end up letting him go. What state do you live in? I live in Kansas. I guess I should get off now so I can look at the rest of your stuff.

  4. Okay! I’d love that! I actually own some Hermit Crabs. If you look on my blog you can “meet” them! I really like Hermit Crabs! That would be great if you could really put them on there!

  8. Hello Hayden,
Thank you for an interesting blog. I am enjoying the beautiful photos. I , too, am an animal lover. Here in Missouri , I used to belong to the Friends of the Zoo program and adopted a Red Panda at the Kansas City Zoo. I now feel the need to join, again. Thank you for inspiring me. I also subscribe to your Dad’s blog.
Enjoy the “WILD” side of life Hayden.

  9. I fogot to mention….
When I travel around the US and Europe, I try to visit as many Zoos as possible.
    Antwerp, Belgium was fascinating.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma Zoo’s Ecoeviroment buildings were the most educational.
It is funny how people view animals differently, like in the Calgary Zoo in Alberta, Canada.

  10. You’re blog sounds awesome! Would you think about writing something about the maned wolf? I think that they are really cool. Ps are you going into the fifth grade?

  11. Hello Hayden!
I love your blog! I’ve spent the last 8 years working with a lot of exotic animals, and I think one of the best parts is teaching people all about them. If you’re interested, I’m currently writing a small blog where I talk about what it’s like to raise exotic babies and what living with them is like. I’ll continue to refer back to your site and make sure my facts line up! Thank you for such a great website!

  12. Hayden, your blog is really cool. I found it while on google images looking up a Giant Chinese flying squirrel. Don’t lose your love for animals! All the best to you.

  13. could you please talk about any endangered animal because I would like there to be less by the way i am ten years old to and like animals

  14. This is neat! I’m researching a school project about Yaks. I know that its a strange choice for an oral presentation. Could you add some facts about Yaks? It would really help. Thanks a million!

    P. S.
How old are you now? Sadly i’m not aloud saying my age online. You don’t have to answer that question, though. I’ll understand.

  15. Hi! My name is Hayden, too. And I’m the same age as you…And you look like you have red hair like me. I also want to be a zoologist when I grow up.

  16. Hi Hayden. I found your blog by accident so I thought I would tell you I am 73 years old but when I about 25 I was helicopter engineer and I worked the Canadian Arctic and saw a herd of Muskox on an Arctic Island. I also found part of a Muskox horn which I sometimes wear around my neck on a Chain. Seeing these magnificent animals in the wild is a fantastic sight.
    Good luck with your career.
